I'm a stay-at-home mom freelancing for Patch on the side. I spent the last three years as a reporter for the Long Island Business News, but left after my baby was born in April. I was named Cub Reporter of the Year by the Press Club of Long Island in 2008. I moved to Long Island in 2007 after graduating from a Pennsylvania state school with a degree in journalism.
