I'm a fine art photographer who specializes in landscapes, seascapes and still life around the greater Patchogue area including the Great South Bay and Fire Island. I grew up in Bellport where I attended B.H.S. and took my first photo class as a junior in a class started by Joe Layden.

I'm a third generation photographer in my family. My father, Milan met my Grandfather, Herb Austin, who was well known for promoting Patchogue in the 20s, 30s & 40s at the U.S.O. during WWII. Their mutual interest in photography sealed a friendship which led to the introduction of my mother, Nancy, whom Milan married in 1946. I have become the family historian and still work on archiving the photographic documentation that was passed down from Herb Austin. His Patchogue Family Album from 1945, featuring many photos of the village and environs can be seen at the Patchogue Library.

I have done numerous exhibits in the Patchogue area inluding the Patchogue Walking Arts Tour, Sayville Summerfest, the Long Island Maritime Museum, the Phoenix Gallery, WH Design Gallery, Friends of Fire Island National Seashore, the Davis Park Art Fair, Woodstock Artfest and have ongoing exhibits at the Casino Cafe in Davis Park and Blackbird's Grille in Bayport.
