Quench Changes Owners

Quench Wine and Spirits in Patchogue is changing owners and is currently closed for renovation.

The previous owners, Kathryn, Danny and Spumoni, sent out an email to customers in mid-October alerting them of the change.

"It's been a pleasure serving you over the past 5 years. However, after careful consideration, it's time for Kathryn, Danny & Spumoni to move on," the email said. "We truly enjoyed providing wine & spirits for your weddings, holidays, girls nights out, romantic dinners, family functions and especially your daily consumption. And most importantly, we are grateful for the lifelong friendships made at QUENCH."

The email said that Quench has sold the business to a new family, and wish the new owners success.

Patch walked into the 90 W. Main St. location Tuesday and was told by an employee that the store will be open soon.
