Patchogue Village Parking Lots To Partly Close Nov. 18

Lots are having cracks filled Monday.

All of the parking lots in Patchogue Village will at least be partly closed off over the course of Monday, Nov. 18 in order to have their cracks filled.

Work is going to start early Monday, starting with the Church Street parking lot, Patchogue Village trustee Joseph Keyes said at Tuesday's Village Board meeting. The process should be quick, Keyes said, estimating that the Church Street lot will be done by 9 a.m.

However, half of every parking lot is going to be coned off by 7 a.m. Monday for the process, Keyes said.

This process is in preparation of resurfacing entire parking lots for the spring arrival of parking meters to the village’s lots, deputy mayor Jack Krieger said at the meeting.

The process should take about two days, Krieger told Patch after the meeting.
