I thought that the village was accepting applications from possible recipients. I do not know whoRead More actually received money.

So who is going to fire the first shot? Are we going to condemn entire states and try to incarcerateRead More all of the residents? Insane! http://firearmsfreedomact.com/state-by-state/ No matter what your personal views are, you must have the wisdom to see a potential deadly situation, and "not go there." Millions of lives are at stake! I do not want to see our way of life "go down the tubes;" and indeed it will. The price is too high! Half of the world is currently at war; do we want to join them; "no way." Total insanity! "You've got to know when to hold, know when to fold, know when to walk away, and know when to run." This is a card game that I do not want to be in! My entire family lives out of state! Any one who provokes a war is indeed guilty of both treason, and stupidity!

You are right Ben we do not need another civil war. And a good way of preventing one would beRead More getting serious about another part of the constitution: treason. Any one advocating the violent overthrow of our country is a traitor. We have laws about that too. Let's enforce them and then there won't be any civil wars. I am not sure how this controversy will all end but I am sure that anyone threatening the democratic process with armed violence to get their way belongs in jail.

Your barking dog complaint in North Patchogue is handled by Public Safety, Town of Broohaven. CallRead More them at 451-6161 and they will take action. The first time the owners will be warned, the next time they will receive a summons.

Don't know what the Town ordnance is, but if you live within the Village of Patchogue, I believeRead More there is a "15 minute rule" in the code. Basically, if the dog is barking for more than 15 continuous minutes, it's a violation subject to a fine. Call public safety at 475-1225. Keep in mind it's probably not their first priority (unless the dog has a bad attitude, and is carrying a weapon), but they will be responsive, eventually.
