Bayport Nonprofit To Receive $15K Check In Patchogue

Sayville Running Company to present check out of proceeds from their '10 Mile Run to the Brewery' race.

Bayport's Better Understanding of Life in Africa (BULA) organization will be presented with a check for $15,000 in Patchogue from the Sayville Running Company Friday out of the proceeds from the running company's third annual 10 Mile Run to the Blue Point Brewery.

The presentation ceremony is taking place at the Blue Point Brewery Friday morning at 11 a.m.

The BULA program was started by Blue Point businessman Tom Fricke and his daughter Melissa in order to work to improve the overall life of African children living in poverty.
