Family Fun Night On Main Street Friday (Updated)

Update 7/12, 8:28 p.m.: Disregard the 3:43 p.m. update, as the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce did have to cancel Friday's event due to the rain. The Chamber did attempt to let Patch know around 5:15 p.m., but we were already out of office for the weekend and caught the voicemail around 8:20 p.m.

Update 7/12, 3:43 p.m.: Family Fun Night is scheduled for tonight, and is not being cancelled for weather, says Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce executive director David Kennedy in a phone call to Patch Friday afternoon. Original story published 7/11, 6 p.m. below:

Family Fun Night will be taking place on Patchogue Village's Main Street Friday evening from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.

According to the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce's website, the event will include face-painting, train rides, balloons and music.

Traditionally the event takes place near the Four Corners intersection of Main Street and North Ocean Avenue in Patchogue Village.
