Sons of AMVETS Hold Annual Spaghetti Dinner

Group contributes to a variety of charitable causes.

On Nov. 10, the Sons of AMVETS Post 111 held their Annual Spaghetti Dinner at their Post located on Cedar Avenue in Patchogue. The feedback on the dinner was positive and everyone in attendance appeared to enjoy the evening.

The Sons of AMVETS at Post 111 has been in existence since 2008.  They hold fundraisers on an annual basis to assist veteran and other worthwhile causes. These fundraising monies are utilized to help veterans that reside at the Stony Brook Veterans Nursing Home. Specific events include a Day at the Races, Long Island Duck Games, Casino Day and fishing trips. Furthermore, this active group donates wreaths for Memorial and Veterans Day ceremonies.
