South Ocean Avenue Roadwork Possibly Starting Friday

Contractors will be cleaning and filling cracks in the pavement.

Roadwork on South Ocean Avenue will be starting as early as Friday and likely early next week from Main Street to South Ocean Avenue in Patchogue Village, village trustee Joseph Keyes told Patch Thursday.

According to Keyes, contractors will be cleaning and filling cracks in the pavement from Main Street to Smith Street. Keyes said this is to prolong the life of the road and is part of Patchogue Village's Storefront to Shorefront initiative.
