Updated: Two Golden Retrievers Found in Medford

Update March 12 4:01 p.m.: Jim McCourt posted onto the Patchogue Patch Facebook Page that the dogs have been reunited Monday with their owner through the efforts of Facebook and the Brookhaven Animal Shelter.

Two golden retrievers were recently found on the corner of Granny Road and South Bicycle Path in Medford, according to a Facebook post on the Lost & Found Pets of Long Island Facebook Page.

Jennifer Fleming, who posted the photo, described the dogs as very friendly and that Suffolk Police were waiting for Brookhaven Animal Shelter. Fleming wrote in the comments of the post that Brookhaven Animal Shelter has the dogs.
