Children's Film: AZUR & ASMAR

In this magnificent animation, blonde, blue-eyed, white-skinned Azur and black-haired, brown-eyed, dark-skinned Asmar are lovingly cared for by Asmar's gentle mother, who tells them magical stories of her faraway, beautiful  homeland and the beautiful Djinn Fairy imprisoned there.  When Azur's father provokes a brutal separation, Asmar and his mother are driven away, homeless and penniless. Years later, reunited but now in very different stations in life, the two brothers set off on a dangerous quest to their mother’s homeland to find and free the Djinn Fairy. Animation.
