Live at The Plaza: ACOUSTIC DUETS PLUS 1

Our fourth installment of “Acoustic Duets” is the first in which one of our previous musicians has been asked to invite a guest.   Tom Falco, given the honor, could not make up his and invited both his brothers Andy and Patrick.  “Acoustic Duets: Plus 1” will be the first time the Falco brothers perform as a trio.

In the early 90’s Andy and Patrick first played together in “The Water Street Band.” By the mid 90’s the band had reformed as “The Water Street Blues Band” with Tom as a permanent member performing until 1999.  In the early 2000’s the brothers played in different combinations with the Long island bluegrass legend Buddy Miriam.  In 2004 Andy moved to Nashville to further his career.  Shortly after Tom and Patrick helped form the band “Easy Chief” which is still thrilling local audiences.

Brother Andy went on to join the “Infamous Stringdusters.”  In 2011 The “Infamous Stringdusters” received their first ever Grammy nomination for their song “Magic #9″ in the Best Country Instrumental Performance category.  Andy has played with Joss Stone, “The Yonder Mountain String Band” and “Railroad Earth”.
