Richard Smith has been a member of the Patchogue community for the past 10 years. He has had a distinguished career that began in London during the 1950's. His work has been associated with both the Pop and Color Field movements of the 1960's. Mr. Smith's work is exhibited internationally in numerous museums and galleries including the Tate Modern in London and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, part of the Smithsonian Institution, in Washington, D.C.
