Found: Pat-Med Restaurants Open on Dec. 25

If chestnuts roasting on an open fire don't seem appetizing, Patch has found restaurants in Patchogue and Medford that are slated to serve a variety of food on Christmas Day.

If you want something other than traditional turkey or ham, try , located at 82 East Main Street in Patchogue. It'll be open from 11:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and will serve its regular menu. Another chinese restaurant open is , at 26 S Ocean Ave., open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Want more variety? Try at 499 North Service Road in Patchogue will also be open and serving its regular menu. Hours will be 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. It's just north of Main Street.

Additionally, at 680 Route 112 in Patchogue will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. serving its regular menu.

For some spirits, music and a nosh later on Christmas night, head down to , located at 49 East Main Street in Patchogue. It'll be open from 7:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., with its late night fried food menu and drinks, including beer wine and alcohol. Its regular house DJ will spin jams beginning at 10:00 p.m.

Medford also has its share of restaurants slated to be open Dec. 25, including . I'll be open from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and serve its regular menu.

Plus, if you're looking for breakfast or craving some late-night gravy and fries, the at 1711 Route 11 in Medford will be open from 8:00 a.m. to midnight and serving its regular menu, as well.

But for as many restaurants that will keep its doors open on Christmas Day, there are those that won't be open.

Eateries in Patchogue closed on December 25 include Bobbique, BrickHouse Brewery & Restaurant, Gallo, Harbor Crab Company, Meson Olé, Perabell and The Oar.

 Places to eat in Medford that'll be closed include J & R's Steakhouse, Ruby Tuesdays and Friendly's will all be closed.
