Homeward Bound: Cat Lost In Patchogue Returns Safely

Simba found his own way home after being lost for nearly a week.

A male, orange cat lost last week in Patchogue found his own way home after being lost for nearly a week.

Simba, who before returning was last seen Nov. 12 near Buckley Road, returned home earlier this week.

Simba's owner Renne Leeber posted the announcement Tuesday morning on the original lost cat article Patch wrote about Simba.

"Simba came home last night safe and sound," Leeber wrote. "Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes!".

Leeber also said in a voicemail left with Patch that a lot of people called her with support in response to finding out Simba had been lost.
