Moose Family Fraternity Raises Over $7100 for Local Organizations

On February 24, 2013, the Moose Family Fraternity Patchogue Lodge 518 hosted a spaghetti dinner and Chinese auction to benefit the Patchogue-Medford High School Cancer Awareness Club.  This event, led by Caitlin Zaugg, a senior at Patchogue-Medford High School, raised over $3,600, which the club plans on using to promote cancer awareness throughout the high school, and to purchase gifts for children who are undergoing cancer treatments.  Caitlin, a cancer survivor herself, stated, "Even small gifts and good wishes that can be given to the children helps to ease their suffering as they undergo treatment.  The club plans on doing all we can to try to make their lives a little brighter."  The Moose Family Fraternity is proud to have been able to facilitate such a successful fundraiser for the club, and continually looks for ways to support the community.

On March 9, 2013, the Moose Family Fraternity Patchogue Lodge 518 hosted a night-at-the-races, spaghetti dinner, and Chinese auction to benefit the Sachem Grays Baseball team.  A great time was had by all while raising over $3,500 for the baseball team.  The team plans on using the funds to afford more children the opportunity to participate and benefit from being a part of a sports program.  The Moose Family Fraternity strives to assist the community in many ways, and is happy to have assisted the team in their fundraising endeavors.
