Former Medford FD Member Passes Away
Mark Jekel, a former member of the Medford Fire Department, passed away Monday night announced the Medford Fire Department's Facebook Page.

The news was announced on both the Medford Fire Department Facebook Page and a Facebook Page for Mark Jekel.
"I just want to take the time out and thank everyone for their love and support through this rough time," wrote a status on Facebook written by Mark's brother Brian that announced Jekel's passing.
Services for Jekel are being held at Robertaccio Funeral Home, 85 Medford Avenue in Patchogue, on June 13 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m., June 14 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. and June 15 will be his burial.
