Talk Back: What Would You Have Done Differently During Irene?

One year ago, Tropical Storm Irene through Patchogue Village and throughout Long Island.

And even though many residents gathered and up their homes, there were still plenty of throughout the area as a result.

Looking back, is there any way you would have prepared differently, or will prepare differently if another similar storm comes our way? Would you have been more willing to if you did not? Or perhaps would you have preferred not to have evacuated? And do you still have any leftover home damages as a result of last year's storm?
