Laffer Grand Jury Indictment to be Unsealed Thursday

Medford man is suspected in Father's Day pharmacy murders.

David Laffer, the Medford man accused of four people in a pharmacy on Father's Day, will be arraigned on a grand jury indictment Thursday, officials said. 

The charges in the indictment have not been made public, but Laffer was with first degree murder and resisting arrest in connection with the shootings at Haven Drugs in Medford. 

Laffer, 33, will appear in a Riverhead court at noon Thursday.

The hearing will be held in the courtroom of State Supreme Court Justice Robert W. Doyle on the third floor of the criminal courthouse due to space reasons, officials said.
