Masked Robbery On Route 112 At Night

Money taken from Shell gas station on Route 112

A masked thief armed with a knife on Monday night forcibly stole an unspecified amount of money from the Shell Gas Station on Route 112 in Patchogue.

A police report of the incident was sent out at 10:47 p.m. Two police cars and two vans from the Crime Scene Section were on the scene.

An employee who refused to be identified said the alleged robber "had a knife and wore a mask and told me to open the cash register and give him money. Because he had the knife, there was nothing I could do so I gave him the money and got out of the store."
