Medford Man Killed After Driving Corvette Into Fence
Lucas Piantieri dies in accident Friday evening on Ohio Avenue in Medford.
A Medford man was killed in a car crash Friday evening after he lost control of his vehicle, police said.
Lucas Piantieri, 35, was driving a 2005 Corvette westbound on Express Drive North in Medford, just west of Route 112, when he crashed into a fence at 109 Ohio Ave. The Corvette came to a stop just short of a home, police said.
Piantieri was transported to Stony Brook University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.
