Suffolk County Police have arrested a Farmingville woman in connection with a hit-and-run crash on Blue Point Road last month that seriously injured a 14-year-old pedestrian.

Vehicular Crime Unit detectives arrested Sabrina Jung, 35 and charged her with leaving the scene of an incident without reporting, resulting in serious physical injury and 3rd degree insurance fraud.
The crime took place back on April 27 when police received a 911 call that a person was lying in the roadway. When cops arrived, they discovered the 14-year-old boy and determined he had been struck by a vehicle at around 2 a.m.

The boy had suffered a serious head injury and was rushed to Stony Brook University Medical Center by the Farmingville Police Department where he was stabilized.

Jung was scheduled for arraignment in First District Court in Central Islip Thursday.
