One Year Later: Medford Pharmacy Killings

Tuesday marks the one-year anniversary of the in Medford, where four people were shot and killed by David Laffer, who later to the act. 

Drug store employees, Jennifer Mejia, 17, of East Patchogue; Raymond Ferguson, 45, of Centereach; and customers Bryon Sheffield, 71, of Medford and Jamie Taccetta, 33, of Farmingville were all killed.

Laffer, who targeted the pharmacy for painkillers, is now serving . His wife, Melinda Brady, is for her role as his driver that day.

Since this past weekend, residents have been leaving momentos on the bench in front of the drug store in remembrance of the tragedy.
