Police: Patchogue Man Stabbed at Party

Suffolk Police charge E. Farmingdale man with second degree assault after allegedly knifing Patchogue man in back at party late Saturday.

An East Farmingdale block party was marred by violence late Saturday when one of the residents stabbed a Patchogue man in the back, according to Suffolk County Police.

Michael Guerriero, 21, of East Farmingdale, was arrested and charged with second degree assault after reportedly knifing Victor Quijano, 20, of Patchogue, in the left side of his back.

Quijano was transported by East Farmingdale Rescue to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, where he was treated for a collapsed lung.

The incident reportedly took place during a block party. Police said the stabbing happened in front of 70 Park Circle South following an altercation. 

Guerriero was held by witnesses until police arrived and is scheduled to be arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Central Islip.
