Fire Police Lieutenant Brian Greck of the Medford Fire Department from the Firemen’s Association of the State of New York (FASNY).

Ex-Chief Melcher of the Medford Fire Department recommended that Greck be honored for his work with the department and with the Juniors.

Upon receiving the award Greck said, "I'm totally in shock. I'm just completely blown away."

Greck has participated in many community activities. He has helped at Oregon Middle School and with Make-A-Wish. He was asked to help at BOCES and talk to the HVAC students.

Greck has been active with the Medford Fire Department since 2003.
