Police: Armed Men Force Way Into Medford Home, Rob Four People Inside

Police believe home was "specifically targeted."

Police are searching for two men who they say forced their way into a Medford home early Tuesday morning and robbed four people of cash, car keys and cellphones.

The incident occurred at 12:30 a.m. when two men knocked on the front door of a house at 139 West Yaphank Road, police said. When someone inside the house opened the door, one of the men "displayed a pistol" and both men then proceeded to rob four people on the lower level of the house, police said.

Police said they believe that the residence was specifically targeted. There were no injuries and the investigation is continuing.
