Police Seeking Patchogue Assault Suspect

Man allegedly struck another in the head with a bottle at a Patchogue bar, says police.

Suffolk County Police announced Thursday that they are seeking out a man suspected of assaulting another man at a Patchogue bar on March 31.

Police say the suspect struck a victim in the head with a bottle at the Cuscatlan Sports Bar at 290 East Main Street around 3:30 a.m.

The victim was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue for treatment.

Police describe the suspect as of Hispanic nationality, around 5'5'' to 5'7'' in height, in his 30s and with dark hair.

Anyone with information is being asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
