East Patchogue man involved in accident, where one vehicle flipped on its side.

An East Patchogue man and a Pennsylvania man were both taken to Eastern Long Island Hospital after a vehicle collision in Cutchogue Thursday afternoon,  reported.

Michael Leisher, 54, of Titusville, Pa. apparently disregarded a red light and drove into the intersection of Route 48 and Cox Lane in Cutchogue on Thursday at 12:43 p.m. in an attempt to turn left and travel west, when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by James Cassel, 74, of East Patchogue, causing Leisher's vehicle to flip onto its side, police said. Members of the transported both men to the for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.
