There were no serious injuries reported after a propane truck crashed into an East Patchogue deli Monday morning.
The crash, according to police, occurred around 10 a.m. when the truck struck a portion of Bayside Delicatessen, located at 740 South Country Road.
According to a Newsday report, the truck had swerved to avoiding hitting a car that was attempting to make a left turn into the deli's parking lot. Police said the truck did hit part of the car, but the car's driver was not injured.
A deli clerk told Newsday that two deliverymen who had just dropped off bottled water at the store just managed to escape before the truck slammed into the front doors.
The truck driver, according to police, suffered minor injuries in the crash.
