Report: Patchogue Man Crashes Car In Medford, Faces DWI Charge

Suspect fled the scene of the car crash and was found an hour and a half later, police say.

A Patchogue man was reportedly arrested Sunday after driving his car into another vehicle in Medford, causing a three-car crash and fleeing the scene, according to Newsday.

Luis Espinoza, 26, drove a 2004 Honda Civic north on Route 112 at 12:25 a.m. and then crashed into a 2009 Ford at the intersection with Robinson Avenue, which then collided into a 2003 Dodge, police said.

Espinoza then fled the scene, but was found by police an hour and a half later, reports Newsday.

Espinoza was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.

Patch followed up with Suffolk Conty Police Monday on this incident, but there is no information regarding injuries available as of this writing.
