Two Injured in Multi-Car Crash on North Ocean

One victim airlifted to Stony Brook University Medical Center.

Two people were injured in a car crash on North Ocean Avenue in Medford Thursday morning.

According to a Suffolk County police officer on scene, a person driving a black Chevrolet Blazer struck a white commercial vehicle near Fox Ridge Drive around 11:40 a.m. A third vehicle was also hit as a result of the crash, police said.

Police did not say how seriously the two people were injured, but one was taken by helicopter to Stony Brook University Medical Center.

The Medford Fire Department also responded to the crash.
