Debates among several of the local candidates up for election this year is taking place at the Medford Fire Department, 171 Oregon Ave. in Medford, Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
Featured debates include Suffolk County Legislator 7th District candidates Robert Calarco (D-Patchogue, incumbent) and John Halverson (R-Patchogue), Brookhaven Highway Superintendent candidates Daniel Losquadro (R-Shoreham, incumbent) and Lori Baldassare (D-Mount Sinai), Brookhaven Councilman 4th District candidates Constance Kepert (D-Centereach, incumbent) and Michael Loguercio, Jr. (R-Ridge), Brookhaven Councilman 5th District candidates Timothy Mazzei (R-Blue Point, incumbent) and Michael Miller (D-Blue Point), Brookhaven Supervisor candidates Ed Romaine (R-Moriches, incumbent) and Vivian Viloria-Fisher (D-Setauket) and Brookhaven Town Clerk candidates Donna Lent (R-Selden) and Cathy Schatzger (D-Selden).
