Pat-Med Robotics, Legis. Calarco, LI Cares Announce Food/Toy Drive

Several drop-off locations available through Dec. 17.

Looking to help out those in need this holiday season?

Here's your chance: Legis. Rob Calaro, Pat-Med High School's Robotics Team 329 and Long Island Cares have joined together to help collect and distribute food and toys for those in need.

If you want to help, you can donate non-perishables and/or a new toy (newborn to age 13), wrapped for the holidays, labeled male or female and marked with the age appropriate level. Labeled boxes for donations have been stationed at the following drop-off locations:

  • Legislator Rob Calarco’s Office, 90 West Main Street, Suite 2N, Patchogue

  • Patchogue-Medford Library, 54-60 East Main Street, Patchogue

  • Dr. Frank R. Egan, DDS, PC-Orthodontics Office, 250 Patchogue-Yaphank Road, Suite 14, E. Patchogue

  • Jon Michel Hair Design, 38 Medford Avenue (Rte. 112), Patchogue

  • Lucy’s Hair Artistry, 455 Route 112, Patchogue

  • YogoMania 2717 Route 112 Medford, NY 11763

  • The drop-off deadline is Dec. 17. 

    If you are in need, contact Calarco’s office prior to that date for specific information at 631-854-1400. 

    On Thursday, Dec. 20, Calarco’s office will be open for the Holiday Food/Toy Drive Pick-up. Be sure you have called ahead to the office to confirm.

    In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, Pat-Med Robotics collected more than 1,300 pounds of food for victims.
