Main Street Parking Blocked Off For Sewer Construction
Alive After Five, Sidewalk Sale Days to be unaffected by construction.
Construction has begun on the south side of Patchogue Village's Main Street between and the in order to upgrade the sewer line, said Joe Dean, superintendent of the Village's Department of Public Works.
Parking will be temporarily affected during the daytime next week but all businesses are open. Village activities such as the Fourth of July parade, Sidewalk Sale Days, Family Fun Night and Alive After Five will also be unaffected.
"We have been assured that it will have no impact on the festivities scheduled for next week," said Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Gail Hoag regarding the events.
