Village Restaurants To Close Early For Hurricane

Restaurants and bars are to close by 10 p.m. Saturday.

Restaurant and bar owners in Patchogue Village are being notified to shut down their businesses to customers on Saturday at 10 p.m. to prepare for the arrival of Hurricane Irene on Sunday.

In the notice sent out on Friday, restaurant and bar owners are to keep their business closed through Sunday.

Additionally, Saturday's  at the  will be ending at 10 p.m.

The village says their goal is for all roads, particularly Main Street in Patchogue, to be clear of traffic by 11 p.m.
