Village To Discuss New Village, Crosswalk Installation, Houseboats

Agenda attached for Monday's Patchogue Village Board of Trustees meeting.

New Village, houseboats and the potential installation of a crosswalk are all topics listed on the agenda for Monday's .

The section involving the albeit New Village plan to bring 291-apartments, business and office space to the North Ocean Avenue and Main Street intersection is listed under Mayor Paul Pontieri's section of the agenda as:

"Resolution granting an extension of Site Plan Approval for a Mixed-Use Development by Downtown Patchogue Redevelopers, LLC."

Also on the agenda as a public hearing is a request to consider abandoning/discontinuing the northern portion of Havens Avenue and its realignment with Jennings Avenue at its intersection with Lake Street.

Under trustee Joseph Keyes portion is a request to hire Tidewater Engineering to conduct a study to look into possibly installing a mid-block crosswalk on Main Street at .

Also listed on the agenda are requests to have discussions on issues at later Village meetings. These include discussing prohibiting the use of houseboats under Trustee Tom Ferb's portion of the agenda, and for discussing the elimination of the two-hour parking restriction on West Main Street between Railroad and West Avenues under Dep. Mayor Jack Krieger's portion.
