Patchogue Admissions Adviser Hired For Farmingdale State

Experienced counselor Ryan A. Neary joins Farmingdale State College admission team.

Farmingdale State College has announced the addition of a new member to its admissions office.

Ryan A. Neary, of Patchogue, will serve as a member of the college as an adviser, working to recruit new students as well as manage campus recruitment events. 

Neary is an experienced counselor earning his master's degree in school counseling at Long Island University, said he is pleased to become a member of the school after working in the enrollment and student services office at Dowling College.

"Growing up on Long Island, I’ve always been impressed by Farmingdale’s reputation and I’m very excited by the opportunity to contribute to the college’s growth,” he said.

Vice President for Institutional Advancement, Patrick Calabria, said Neary is coming to the college as the school's enrollment is experiencing an uptick.

“Ryan arrives at Farmingdale at a time when the college is experiencing tremendous growth in enrollment, the quality of the students we attract, our research enterprise, and the modernization of our laboratories, academic buildings, and student service areas," he said.
