Thinking of running for the Board of Education? Petitions are due today.
Petitions for candidacy to run for the Patchogue-Medford School District Board of Education are due today to the district office, 241 South Ocean Ave. in Patchogue, at 5 p.m.
According to the district's website, there are three open seats on the Board of Education available this year, with terms beginning July 1, 2012 and ending June 20, 2015.
