Pat-Med Schools Closed Wednesday

The district is urging residents to stay in contact through any means necessary.

All Patchogue-Medford schools will be closed again Wednesday due to the inclement weather and conditions brought by Hurricane Sandy.

The district is also urging residents to stay in contact through non-traditional means in order to spread information.

Patchogue-Medford School District's website is also currently inaccessible.

Also for East Patchogue area families in the South Country School District, that district have also announced that they are closing Wednesday on News 12.

Don't know what the Town ordnance is, but if you live within the Village of Patchogue, I believe…Read More there is a "15 minute rule" in the code. Basically, if the dog is barking for more than 15 continuous minutes, it's a violation subject to a fine. Call public safety at 475-1225. Keep in mind it's probably not their first priority (unless the dog has a bad attitude, and is carrying a weapon), but they will be responsive, eventually.
