maybe Patchogue Patch ...could do a story on that ...if it is so ...Is the person o.k. ? extent of injuries ?

Yeah the person is ok. a friend of mines brother broke his leg. he had successful surgery and is ok. nothing too serious. thank you for the concern. and yeah, i wish patchogue patch would do more stories on the school and sports in general. i graduated last year, and the students and parents and other members of the community are very unhappy with the lack of interest, support and involvement with the school and everything that goes along with it. i just want to throw that in there. but i know myself, as well as others will be writing and making our concern heard..

Nikki: We absolutely love doing stories on the schools (In fact we have a profile on members of the Girls Cross Country team up at 9 a.m. today). If you know of a school event that you want coverage at or have a idea of someone interesting to profile, please email us at michael@patch.com about it. In the event we cannot make it (Patchogue and Medford is a very active place), send us photos and some information about it, and we can get it on the website. Also feel free to make use of our Announcements section (which is under the News tab), where you can post community announcements directly to the website, as well as the Events section's "Add An Event" form to directly post upcoming events to our calendar. Posted Events and Announcements also go out in the daily email. Hope this helps.

Thanks Michael, certainly does. i understand Patchogue-Medford is a big and active community and school district, but events such as football games should be covered, and covered well. there are only 4 home games a year, and are arguable the biggest sporting events featured each year. i attend many other sporting events throughout the year, so i am in no way being bias, i am just expressing my concern about the lack of coverage on football games.. each year, i feel like coverage got less and less. the reason for which, i am not sure. but it has been a topic among many players and parents. i had told parents to send pictures and videos in to you, to possibly be put up. i was in the booth or "press box" this season, as a spotter and i also took stats and wrote articles for each game.practice (college for sports journalism) if i can do that, why cant a professional be there covering it. thats all im saying. but i understand we all cant get what we want. other than that, i love the website, keep up the good work Michael! Hows Will doing?! and by the way, sure you are aware, but hey, i might as well say it while im here.. the football team has a playoff game this friday night at 7:00 at Sachem North High School. it will be aired live on Msgvarsity. its a big deal to the players, and they would appreciate good playoff coverage.. thanks.
