Saxton Student Wins Patchogue Elks Essay Contest

Sixth grade student Dahlia Cyrille, of , won first place in Division 1 of the Americanism Essay Contest. 

Dahlia's Essay was filled with enthusiasm about how privileged we are to live in this great country.

As a first place winner Dahlia received a check for $50 from Patchogue Elks Lodge #1323 and her essay will be forwarded to the Elk State Division where her essay will be entered with other student entries from all over the New York state.
