Mrs. Joan Soldano, sixth grade teacher at Saxton Middle School, was recently awarded the Air Force Association's Spring 2013 Civil Air Patrol Educator Grant. This grant will allow students in Saxton's Space Club to participate in the Challenger Learning Center's e-Missions Program entitled, "Moon, Mars and Beyond." This program is an innovative way to engage students in the power of math and science in real world situations. The mission is scheduled for May 15th.
