Scholarships Awarded to Pat-Med Alumni attending SUNY Oswego
Three students recognized for outstanding achievement.
Recent Patchogue-Medford graduates, Kristina L. Dimartino of Patchogue received a $2,000 Merit Award, Jonathan D. McKibbin also of Patchogue received a $5,000 Deans' Award and Amanda R. Radalinsky of Medford received a $17,600 Presidential Scholarship to attend SUNY Oswego in the fall.
The awards recognize students' past academic achievements and potential for success.
SUNY Oswego has awarded merit scholarships to more than 600 incoming students this year. Outstanding first-year students entering Oswego are offered $17,600 Presidential Scholarships ($4,400 a year for up to four years), $5,000 Deans' Awards ($1,250 a year for up to four years) or $2,000 Merit Awards ($500 a year for up to four years).

Admission to SUNY Oswego is competitive. U.S. News named it among the "Top Public Regional Universities in the North" for 2011, and the Princeton Review includes Oswego in its college guidebook "The Best Northeastern Colleges".
The students have reserved places in the incoming freshman class for the fall semester. Classes will begin August 29.
