Anthony Ferraro's bail set to $500.00

Anthony Ferraro, 18, of Medford plead not guilty to one count of Falsely Reporting An Incident at the First District Court in Central Islip said the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office.  The office also stated that Ferraro's bail is set to $500.00.

Ferraro was arrested yesterday, charged as being one of two students arrested thus far for making bomb threats against Patchogue-Medford High School over the last week.  The second student, a minor, will appear in Family Court at a later date.

Patchogue-Medford High School has had a string of bomb threats and subsequent evacuations over the past week, which led the school to issue an announcement yesterday evening about the arrests and an unrelated cafeteria fire incident that also evacuated the school.
