After nearly 50 years, Michael Mostow retires from Patchogue-Medford school district.

Michael Mostow retired as the Superintendent of Schools in the Patchogue-Medford School district, ending a 50-year run in the education field. Mostow sat down with Patchogue Patch before his final day. 

Mostow, who said he was brought on to fix financial troubles, guided Patchogue-Medford out of austerity and past issues of racial violence.

Michael Locantore is his replacement.
